STORYTELLING LAB

From data to decisions—learn to lead with story

A hands-on experience for small groups who want to tell better stories at work. Participants learn how to shape narratives for strategy, client updates, pitches, or internal comms—and apply it to real work, with coaching along the way.

Our coaches work with participants and their managers to ensure that skills translate to measurable results in meetings, pitches, and conversations.

To fit within workflows, we provide workshops and coaching over multiple sessions, held one to two weeks apart.

FAQ image

Will training work?

We make training work for each client by asking key questions:

What is the goal of your next big presentation, fundraise or pitch?

Are you getting what you need from meetings?

Can your team articulate the firm or company story? Your strategy?

Based on your answer, we build our training to deliver those results.

How much does training cost?

Presentation Rx starts at $6k and can be delivered on-site, virtually or as hybrid. Depending on the size of your group, we may recommend adding a facilitator.

The Coaching Pilot is $1500 for three sessions, an intro and wrap-up call.

Pricing for the Storytelling Lab starts at $12k, and depends on the number of participants and format.

What is the format and time commitment?

The Presentation Rx Workshop is a 2.5 hour session with no prep work, though participants are asked to take a brief survey.

Coaching Sprints are held virtually, with the option of in-person for the Metro DC region or Richmond/Charlottesville.

The Storytelling Lab includes two 2-hour workshops, with with Office Hours for follow-on coaching. Participants should plan on doing about an hour of independent work between workshops and Office Hours.

Do you cover PowerPoint design skills?

For Coaching Sprints, you have the option of adding design work. Our design team can do makeovers and create new slides.

As a follow-on to Presentation Rx, we also offer instructional workshops as virtual office-hour settings where participants work on before-and-after with professionals.

Do you work with individuals?

We work with individuals through Coaching Sprints.
